Snowboard & Fitness Workshop
This winter, Olympic Bronze medalist Jenny Jones is inviting intermediate and advanced snowboarders to join her on a unique snowboarding workshop in the French Alps.
Jenny has assembled a crack team to work with her including renowned British snowboard coach Neil McNair, BASI Level 4 snowboard coach Rhys Jones, fellow Olympian and certified personal trainer Ben Kilner, her personal sports psychologist Louise Jones and resident mountain yogi Sian Leigh. Together with Jenny they will help workshop clients to improve their technique, bring confidence to their riding and provide the physical and mental tools to take their riding to the next level.

What will we learn?
This is a fantastic, early season opportunity to work on your technical snowboard skills, develop your snowboard fitness and enjoy a fun four days of shredding before Christmas! To maximize progression, snowboard techniques learnt on the mountain during the day with Neil & Jenny will be followed up with an off-snow, targeted gym session with Jenny’s fellow Olympian and personal trainer Ben Kilner. At the end of the workshop Ben will put together a bespoke snowboard-specific training plan to prepare you for your next trip to the mountains. You will be a stronger rider, more in control, less tired, more confident and will have style for miles!
Any elements that Neil identifies that are related to strength, agility, flexibility or conditioning will then be addressed off snow with Ben Kilner. I am really excited that Ben has joined the team of experts for this course. With his elite athlete background, and experience as a qualified fitness instructor, Ben is able to share with you elements of his own off-snow training specific to snowboarding. He will take you through important dry land based training sessions throughout the week and customise them to the individual where necessary. You will come away from the workshop with a unique snowboard training plan to prepare you for your next trip out to the mountains.
The workshop will be hosted by our accommodation partners Chill Alp in Chalet Les Andes, which is situated in the high altitude snow-sure resort of Tignes. The chalet has an awesome location just 200m from the slopes and you can snowboard back to within 50m of the door.
Chalet Les Andes is a stunning chalet with its own private indoor pool and sauna. There are 10 ensuite bedrooms each with a balcony. The spacious lounge and dining area has beautiful views over Tignes and the Grande Motte Glacier. There is also free wifi and a cosy Xbox snug room for guests to use.
