Important update

As you know, we were working with FatMap to enhance your adventures and help you navigate while on your track. Unfortunately, we have just been informed that FatMap, now partnered with Strava, is no longer available for use, effective immediately. *Unless you already have a FatMap account you will have access until 1st October but you cannot make a new account from now onwards due to the merge. But don’t worry, we have some options!

To ensure you can still follow the GPX tracks for your trek, we have sent you all the raw GPX files via email. You can choose a software that works best for you to download your tracks. Please note that AllTrails and Strava require you to download your GPX tracks on a desktop, while the other apps allow you to do this directly on your phone.

Please have a look and choose which navigational app you’d like to use. Here are some options:

Gaia GPS – You can have a 7 day free trial or it is £51.90 for the year

All Trails – You can have a 7 day free trial or it is £35.99 for the year

Whympr – You can have a 7 day free trial or 3 months for £14.99 / £24.99 per year

Strava – €9.99 per month or €59.99 per year

Kamoot – €29.99 for life, premium extra €4.99 per month

If you are using Fatmap please see instructions here.

We are very sorry for the disruption this has caused. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

These applications for GPX files are not compulsory, they are simply an extra navigational tool which you can choose to use. Don’t forget the trail is well marked, very popular and easy to follow and we provide each party with a detailed Tour du Mont Blanc Map.

Happy trekking!
