The Adventure
Big Change Charity (With Threshold Sports)
The Virgin Strive Challenge
A multi day hiking adventure across the Alps with a group of 60 hikers, followed by an Alpine Climb (Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn) by a core team of 10-15 people. An adventure and challenge to raise awareness to create a society in which the young can thrive regardless of their start in life.
The Objective
Fundraise over £1,000,000 for the the Big Change charity.
The Results
Fundraised over £1,460,000, multiple successful mountain ascents, real conversations, happy clients, a couple of blister plasters and way too many celebratory beers!


The Adventure
Operation Mobilization
The Freedom Climb
50 hikers from the missionary church group Operation Mobilization, crossed the high alpine range from Chamonix to Zermatt along the world famous Haute Route. The group, consisting mostly of women from the US with little hiking experience trekked for 8 days, covering 200km and 12000m of elevation along this historic and unique route. Supported by our team and with steely determination, all 50 hikers completed the challenge and were rewarded with life changing experiences.
The Objective
Raise funds and generate awareness about enslaved women around the world.
The Results
All 50 hikers completed the challenge and in their words were rewarded with “A life changing experience.”


The Adventure
Virgin Atlantic
High Alps Trek
The Adventure: 55 staff from the Virgin cabin crew and ops teams hiked for 4 days across the French Alps, from Chamonix to Verbier. Good company, great mountain food and a healthy dose of ‘play’ were all part of an energy fuelled long weekend.
The Objective
Investing in and reward their best people with an eye to achieve the following: team bonding, a sense of togetherness, a ‘right good’ adventure and an experience no one would forget.
The Results
Employee recognition and care for the investment made in their wellbeing as well as stronger relationships within the leadership team.
HOW DOES A TAILOR-MADE BOOKING WORK?
Whether it's a climb to Western Europe’s highest peak or maybe something completely different and unique; we’ll help find and create the perfect adventure for you or your clients.

STAGE 1
Discovery Stage
We learn about your objectives, the people, the budget, the time frame, the dog’s name... you get the picture! This is the most important stage of the whole process as it dictates the direction we all move in from this point. You don't need to have the solutions, that's our job, just come with your objectives.

STAGE 2
Inspiration Stage
Our operations and creative teams research opportunities and environments that fit the brief. Based on our findings, we then cook up your bespoke adventure options and present them to you for discussion. At this point we either move forwards with the one you like and fine tune it, or we go back to the drawing board.

STAGE 3
Commitment Stage
Once all agreed, you pay the deposit and away we go. Financial terms can be structured according to the adventure and your requirements.

STAGE 4
Pre-Adventure
We walk you through the necessary steps to progress the administrative side of organising a trip. Further, we create assets (Detailed itineraries, kit list, training advice and more) that can be distributed to your clients or your team. Our objective is to make sure you arrive at your trip confident and excited in what's to come.

STAGE 5
Adventure
This is where the magic happens. Your adventure manager will oversee the trip and make sure everything runs smoothly for the duration of the experience. We're here every step of the trip to deliver for you and your objectives.

STAGE 6
Post-Adventure
We debrief and discuss the trip, tie up any loose ends, send across any imagery or videography and reminisce about ‘this time last week’.
