An immersive introduction to trail running in the heart of the Chamonix.
Time to optimise your trail running fitness and mechanics with one-on-one coaching by Chloë Lanthier.
During the camp you will learn drills to gain confidence for the descents, strength and economy for the climbs, and walking-running strategies for the steeper and more technical terrain. Also we will work on the fundamental of running such as cadence and base speed on flat and rolling terrain. Each day we explore a new trail and focus on a specific skill. The rhythm is stop and go while you receive individual feedback from Chloë and with longer running sections but always at a comfortable pace. You will experience running at altitude on beautiful trails, and with plenty of time to enjoy the views.
Also on the program, an optional daily short run before breakfast, a track session to introduce you to running drills, strength and mobility exercises. Individual video running analysis with tips. Chloë will share her experience and expertise with daily mini workshops at the chalet.
This camp is perfect if you are new to trail running or eager to learn more and progress. Get inspired and join us for a unique and exciting camp!
Beyond the training, there’s plenty of time to relax and enjoy everything Chamonix has to offer — from its charming cafés to jaw-dropping mountain views. You’ll finish the week with practical tools, more confidence on the trails, and a renewed sense of motivation to continue your journey into the world of trail running.

Who is this for?
To get the most out of this course, you should be able to comfortably run for about 90 minutes on flat terrain at a slow to moderate pace. You’ll also need the stamina for a 2-hour mountain hike — think steady uphill walking rather than intense climbing. No previous trail running experience is necessary, though any time spent off-road is definitely a bonus. This course is designed for beginner to early-intermediate trail runners — whether you’re transitioning from road running, getting back into fitness, or simply curious about the sport. It’s all about learning, building confidence, and enjoying the trails.
The fitter you arrive, the more you’ll be able to take in — from the technical terrain to the coaching and longer runs. While we’ll adjust the pace to suit the group, coming in with a solid fitness base will allow you to get more out of the experience and focus on the fun stuff: technique, flow, and exploring the mountains.
