The adventure capital of the world is super easy to access. The closest airport is Geneva which operates regular flights from all major cities. Once at the airport, you need to hop on a transfer to Chamonix which takes 1hr30mins. We recommend booking your transfer in advance here.
Transfers cost approximately €55 each way for a direct door to door service. For a cheaper option we recommend Swiss Tours for a swift bus journey direct into the centre of Chamonix.
Please contact us if you haven’t received your arrival accommodation information.
For all of our Chamonix based trips we typically work with La Chaumière Mountain Lodge, 322 Rte des Gaillands, 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc / and Pointe Isabelle, 165 Av. Michel Croz, 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (We will let you know in due course before your trip, or please get in touch to find out)
Geneva is the closest airport to access Zermatt, although Zurich is also a good option. Once you’ve landed, you need to use the excellent, highly efficient Swiss train services to get to Zermatt. The train journey takes 3hr30mins so you’ll have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the mountain views. You can plan your journey here. (Start point: Geneve Aeroport, Finish point: Zermatt Bahnhof)
The train journey costs approximately CHF45 each way.
