Geneva is the closest airport to access Arolla and Zermatt, although Zurich is also a good option (we recommend using Sky Scanner to help plan your flights). Once you’ve landed, you can use the excellent, highly efficient Swiss train (SBB) services to Sion before getting a bus (Swiss PostAuto 381) to Arolla. The train journey takes 3hr 30mins so you’ll have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the mountain views. You can plan your journey here. (Start point: Geneve Aeroport, Finish point: Arolla). The train journey costs approximately CHF45 each way.
When returning from Zermatt you will need to get the train down to Visp before changing for the train to Geneva.
If you wanted a private transfer from the airport we could help arrange this but expect to pay close to €600 one way.
