Geneva is the closest airport to access Zermatt, although Zurich is also a good option (we recommend using Sky Scanner to help plan your flights). Once you’ve landed, you can use the excellent, highly efficient Swiss train services to get to Zermatt. The train journey takes 3hr 30mins so you’ll have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy the mountain views. You can plan your journey here. (Start point: Geneve Aeroport, Finish point: Zermatt Bahnhof). The train journey costs approximately CHF45 each way.
For our Monte Rosa Spaghetti Tour based trips we typically work with Hotel Aristella, Steinmattweg 7, 3920, Zermatt. We will confirm with you the accommodation for your trip in our pre-arrival information email two weeks before, or please get in touch to find out. When you arrive in Zermatt at the train station you can either walk to the hotel or you can call them (+41 (0)27 967 20 41) and they will come and pick you up in one of their electric taxis.
Please contact us if you haven’t received your arrival accommodation information.
