We are the invisible team behind the operations of many travel agencies and groups. Behind some of the big names in adventure travel, we are the operators making the trips happen.
Not only do we offer our own trips, but we also act as a DMC (destination management company) for other agencies or individuals looking to run adventure travel trips in the Alps.
So essentially, you own the trip, but we do the logistics.
Who do we work with?
We work with some big names who run multiple trips a year on some of our most loved adventures, like Climb Mont Blanc, but we also work with smaller scale organisations or individuals looking to expand their trip repertoire.
Why do people use us?
One thing we know is that the operations behind an adventure travel trip in the Alps are complex. Organising hut bookings, being on-call for client issues that may arise, organising taxis, luggage transfers, trail updates, finding alternative options from routes if a client is struggling… It’s something that we have been refining for the past 16 years.
Charlie and Olly, co-founders of Adventure Base, have spent many years living and working in and around the Alpine Regions of Chamonix. Meaning, they know the trails, huts, best places to eat, and insider knowledge that help clients adventure like a local.
That’s why we know we are experts in the Alps. We have seen it all over the years. With our local contacts and an office in Chamonix, we run trips for travel companies that realise doing it themselves is a lot of hassle!
